Four Horses on a Leash
Revelation 6:1-8When the Lamb breaks the first four seals, riders of conquest, war, hunger, and death gallop out, yet each one moves only because power is given to him, so even the worst forces in history answer to the One who was slain and lives.
A Cry Under the Altar
Revelation 6:9-17The fifth seal shows martyrs asking God how long, the sixth shows the powerful hiding from the Lamb, and together they ask the question that chapter 7 will answer: who can stand when God finally judges?
The Counted and the Countless
Revelation 7:1-17In the pause before the seventh seal, John answers the question that ended chapter 6: those who stand on the last day are the ones God has sealed, the ones the Lamb has washed, a multitude no one can number from every nation.
