Revelation · Section 1 of 10
Prologue
Revelation 1:1–20 · days 1–2
Revelation opens with its title, a blessing for those who read and hear it, and a greeting from Jesus Christ, "who is and who was and who is to come." John then sees the risen Christ walking among seven lampstands. Before any beast or bowl appears, the book wants us to see Jesus.
