The Song Beside the Sea
Revelation 15:1-8Before the final bowls of wrath are poured out, the victorious saints sing the song of Moses and of the Lamb, declaring that God's judgments are righteous, true, and aimed at a day when all nations will worship him.
They Did Not Repent
Revelation 16:1-11As the first five bowls fall on the earth in a pattern borrowed from the Exodus plagues, heaven declares God's judgments righteous, and the stubborn refusal of those under judgment to repent shows how deep the human heart's rebellion runs.
It Is Done
Revelation 16:12-21As the kings of the earth are deceived into gathering for a final war, Jesus breaks in with a warning to stay awake, and the seventh bowl brings a voice from the throne declaring that God's judgment is complete.
